Easy to make Bruschetta

Bruschetta is usually thought of as a side dish for an Italian dinner, however it can be a wonderful dip for a healthy snack!

To prepare you will need:

  • 2 medium sized on-the-vine tomatoes
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • 1 small handful fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons ultra virgin olive oil

– Dice tomatoes, garlic, and basil; toss in olive oil. You now have a wonderful snack full of flavor and just a touch of healthy monounsaturated fat. Note: you will want to remove the seeds as they can cause your bruschetta to be bitter!
